Grimm is the experimental music project and current moniker of Sam Rose Herle (formerly of the band and sometimes solo project Elf Pity), a musician and illustrator currently based on the unceded territories of the Squamish, Musqueam, and Tsleil-Waututh nations. They graduated from Emily Carr University’s BFA program in 2020, and are a co-founder of the virtual exhibition space Cyber Warehouse (featured in the November/December 2020 edition of Discorder Magazine and in Exclaim! Magazine). The project often revolves around fantasy or science fiction themes, and draws on an eclectic range of influences including genres such as electropop, techno, and folk. Grimm's debut self-recorded and self-produced album (mixed and mastered by Angel Hair Audio), ‘Electro Folklore’, is out now on Kingfisher Bluez.
